AI productivity could add $28 billion to $84 billion a year to India's GDP, depending on adoption levels, Cognizant said in a study of 700 enterprise employees and 75 executives. About 97% of surveyed employees reported some productivity gain, averaging 15%, yet most business leaders have not seen financial returns. Cognizant calls all figures modelled estimates based on self-reported responses and says they should be read as directional.
