About these numbers
Platform counts (editions, stories, episodes, languages, subscribers, tools reviewed, articles) come directly from our Supabase database and catalog repositories via a Netlify function cached 6 hours, stamped with "as of" dates. Live population counters are interpolated from official UN WPP 2025 figures — honest estimates, not transaction-by-transaction reads. Macro and ecosystem metrics show "as of" dates and link to the original source (NPCI, RBI, IMF, World Bank, Tracxn, IAMAI, etc.). USD/INR fetches from
open.er-api.com with
Frankfurter as fallback. BTC fetches from
CoinGecko. If you spot a stale or wrong number,
