Thailand moves to block Bitget and files criminal contempt against operator

Thailand's securities regulator has asked the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society to block access to Bitget from December 5, covering its website, related domains and mobile app. The SEC filed a criminal complaint against operator BG Limited for running a digital asset exchange without a licence. Users with funds on the platform were urged to deal with their holdings before that date.
