Anthropic posts $17 Bn Q3 revenue but swings to $567 Mn operating loss

Anthropic posted $17 billion in Q3 2026 revenue, up from $11.6 billion in the previous quarter, but swung to a $567 million operating loss. It spent $5 billion on short-term computing, which it said costs significantly more than multi-year capacity. Its filing, ahead of a planned IPO, also disclosed about $895.4 billion in committed compute and infrastructure spending.
