OpenAI says India is now ChatGPT's largest market as users double

India has become ChatGPT's largest market globally, and OpenAI's India user base has doubled, according to ET Tech's morning dispatch on 3 November 2026. The same dispatch covered Rapido, which handles around 8.3 million daily orders, with ride-hailing above 95%. Rapido's monthly active users grew 27% between January and October, and it operates in nearly 500 cities.
